We have a fintech B2B SaaS solution. Each customer (company) can have multiple users associated with it. Each user can perform actions on behalf of the company.Customer.io’s new “Object” feature seems to be ideal for associating multiple users (“people”) with a single company (“objects”).That said, how do we associate events with objects, instead of with people? Here are some use-cases that I’d like to achieve. Use-case 1: Person acting on behalf of companyACME Inc. has three users, John, Sarah, and Mara. How does conditions in a workflow work?

Hello,I have a question regarding the Time Delay step for a workflow I created. In the screenshot above, at the Time Delay step, it says that ‘Only wait if the condition is met’. What happens to the users who don’t meet the condition? do they move to the next step or do they stay stuck at this step?Similarly, if I add condition to the message step - I understand that the message will only be sent to the people who meet the conditions, but what happens to the people who don’t? Do they exit the flow or do they move to the next step?

How to create "Environment specific variables"?

Hi, We are using 2 workspaces to differentiate our staging and production environments. First of all, is this the right thing to do?A pain-point of doing so is that when we want to copy an email template from Staging to Production, we have to manually update all the links. Is there a way to create a kind of environment variable that we could use in  Liquid like `{{ env.APP_URL }}` ?It could also be useful for storing some API keys we use in the Fetch data step of our workflows.

Getting 400 response by running CURL examples

Hi! In App doesn't work on android release of react native

Goa late. When debugging using the emulator, the inapp arrives normally, but when I generate the build release for android, the inapp does not arrive on the device. The user is being identified, the sdk was configured enabling the inapp, but even so in the release it doesn't work.Would anyone know the reason?

Unable to get the filtered data by api

Hello everyone,I am using customer io post customers api to get the users from customer io and also adding the filters to get the relevent data that matches the conditions in the filtere, but it seems to be not working.here is the snippet of code I am using to get the data    url = "https://api-eu.customer.io/v1/customers"    payload = {        "filter": {            "and": [                {"attribute": {"field": "email", "operator": "exists", "value": False}}            ]        }    }I want users who don’t have the email attribute in their user attributes, but I am getting users with email attributes, means the filter is not working.would appreciate the help from the community here.Thanks

Unable to Switch Between Workspaces

Just as it sounds..I have two workspaces, and when I click to switch from the one that loaded at page load to the other one it seems to bug out and keep me on the first workspace. I cannot access the 2nd workspace at all!

How to build something similar to creator profile in Convertkit?

Hi there,we are launching a newsletter for our company and we will send it out bimonthly. We are coming from Convertkit where it was possible to create a simple landing page with the author’s profile and the recap of all the newsletter sent in the past. Is something similar possible on Customer.io? I don’t think so, but I was wondering if someone else had such need and how you solved for it.  ThanksS

I don’t see email events in Amplitude anymore + the old events have no user properties.

We connected Amplitude in Customer.io (Amplitude  API) and Customer.io in Amplitude (as a destination). For 2 days we were able to see events in Amplitude. But then it stopped (we did not change anything). Plus, even those 2 days it was working, the events did not contain any users properties from Amplitude. We used Device ID from Amplitude to  connect with Customer User ID. Do you know where the problem could be?

Best way to create an Everyone Segment

Hi, I think I remember reading in your documentation that the way you recommend creating a Segment that contains everyone is to make a Segment of: attribute: created_at is a timestamp I notice that you’ve added a new attribute, _created_in_customerio_atHave you deprecated the old attribute? What’s the best practice for creating an Everyone segment now? Use the new created in customerio attribute? Thanks, Toby

Countdown Timer Formats

I am looking to build a timer that I can plug into the body copy of an email. I intended to use the native countdown timer in the CIO docs, but the code doesn’t seem to be formatted to anything other than a banner. Here is the use case I am looking for “Your promo expires in x days”. Can anyone give me a hand on how I can get this functionality while not using a third party?

How do I update a specific nested JSON property via Create or Update workflow action?

I have an attribute “last_estima” that stores a json object that looks like thisI want to update only the “date” field in the create or update workflow :but when this runs, a new “last_estima.date” attribute is created rather then the nested “date” field being updatedI know it is possible to update the whole “last_estima” attribute at once, but is it possible to edit just the “date” property without having to set the rest of the object too?

Send in-app message in web channel to anoymous people

In the documentation it clears states that the user has to be identified in order to send an in-app message. But in the web channel when working with on-site messages (banners, popups etc.) I would like to show messages to basically everyone via CIO. Is there any workaround in order to achive this? What is the reason I have to identify all users? Thanks for your help,Felix

Segment Condition - Hour Timestamp

Hi everyone,Does anyone could give me some feedback or suggestion regarding what I faced currently? Will be highly appreciate your help!Situation: I would like to make new segment with below condition Indonesia, Web Users Signed-up today Have not apply any job within 2 hours Problem: The timestamp of the signed-up time (created_at) can’t be ‘a relative hours’, while should be in date, which impacting only applicable for 1 DAY ago. What I expect, could be set as X HOURS ago. Question: Is there any way to make a segment or trigger in campaign with above condition that I expect? Here’s below the screenshot

Can I use Campaign with trigger from a webhook instead Transactional to this end?

In my scenario my transactional messages go to two channels: push and email.Some problems in this way to me:To do that in customer.io I need to create two transactional messages, one each channel; To email transactional message I need pass to (email) on payload by api/sdk. This not make sense to me if I alredy need pass identification too (identification.id is requred); To solve this, I want use campaign triggered by webhook and handle all I need in workflow.This is ok looking by best practices or you suggest another way?
