Wait until relationship attribute condition

Hi,Is there any existing functionality to use the relationship attributes in a Wait until activity? We are using objects and relationsships for meetups/events that we host and we want to make sure they are not on waitlist (relationship attribute) when we send the signup confirmation.

Custom Rows have disappeared

Hi, For our drag and drop emails we made custom rows for our team to use but all of a sudden they are gone but when I look at Manage saved rows I can see them. But there’s no way to actually select one and use it in the email

Send in-app message in web channel to anoymous people

In the documentation it clears states that the user has to be identified in order to send an in-app message. But in the web channel when working with on-site messages (banners, popups etc.) I would like to show messages to basically everyone via CIO. Is there any workaround in order to achive this? What is the reason I have to identify all users? Thanks for your help,Felix

close in-app messages by clicking outside of ui

HelloWhat we have:We have a web app (build with next.js) and browser chrome extension (build with react.js).We use @customerio/cdp-analytics-browser  in both apps.What we want (1):We want to close (dismiss) in-app messages, but we want to trigger closing in customer.io npm package (@customerio/cdp-analytics-browser). Is it possible? We don’t find a method for that.What we find, that we can do the same but with react-native sdk, by running:CustomerIO.inAppMessaging().dismissMessage();but react-native it is not what we need. Now we just remove in-app messages iframe from DOM, which is not a great way how to handle this. What we want (2):We have a functionality to disable chrome browser extension for some domains (for example user don’t want to use our browser extension for google.com).And we want to disable or stop notifications for that user. Is it possible? We know that we can use_cio.reset();but in that case when we have in-app messages in customer.io queue will we still get them?Than

Troubleshooting: Notification feed in rails

Hi, I have a few things I’m trying to troubleshoot. 1. My app has a user ID field, but it's not getting pulled into customer.io - it's giving them a CIO ID but not passing along ours (and sometimes doesn’t even pass the email) 2. We have notifications set up in a notification center via rails (notified gem). How can I integrate that into customer.io to be able to send notifications to that feed? (picture attached) 3. Right now it is pulling in a ton of people with no identifier (off every event) - how do I limit this so it's only pulling in identified users? (I have nearly 50K profiles and my app is just under 5K users). 4. Events - how do I customize the events that it's pulling? Thank you!

Problem with in-app and GTM

Hi guys! I'm having trouble since the past week trying to set up the in-app functionality. My process is stuck at stage 2 of the initial configuration when you hace to choose your channels. The snippet is correctly installed (I can see it is fired on every page in debug mode) but Customer.io doesn't recognize it. A/B testing - are users split consistently?

In an A/B test in customer.io, if there is an A/B test in an recurring campaign, would the users in the control group consistently be bucketed into the control group & similarly for the treatment group?I couldn’t find any documentation on this.

What's the difference between "TRUE," "true," and true in attributes (and false)?

Hello, I noticed that depending on if I add the words true/false as an attribute in the dashboard or via API it sometimes gets capitalized, sometimes is lowercase, and sometimes seems like a string vs a boolean value. It also seems to therefore behave differently when making filters and segments; sometimes it is case sensitive, other times it’s not. Can someone clarify how to always make sure you’re adding a boolean, not string, of true/false, especially through the dashboard and CSV uploads?Thank you!

Can receive push notification on Android

Hi, Our App is using Customer IO to send marketing push notifications, we have followed the instructions to integrate with Customer IO, for now, iOS is working perfect, but we found that on Android users can’t receive push notifications.The most strange thing is we can send test push notifications in workspace settings & broadcast content preview via push tokens, but just can’t send in a real broadcasts via emails. It always say no devices synced, but there are devices in the user’s devices list. Here are our versions of SDKs:Customer IO React Native SDK 3.9.0,Firebase React Native SDK 19.1.2,React Native 0.74.5

Location-based campaigns in CIO / geo data?

Any tips or examples of the best way to store / use location-based data in campaigns? For example, “send a message to everyone near New York City”?Is the only way to pre-process data before CIO and add “New York,” “Atlanta,” “Los Angeles” etc to individual profiles?Ideally, there would be a way to set coordinates or other geo-data and then have CIO dynamically calculate distance, i.e. “within 25 miles of coordinates X, Y”.Or is there some other way you’ve seen it done in CIO?The closest thing I could find in the forums was over a year ago, so not sure if there has been any update since then.Thank you!

Issue with date filters

Hello,I have an issue with my “created_at” filter, indeed, all my recent contacts are qualified with “Invalid date” (cf screenshot) Does anyone know why is it happening?  Also, when I try to create a segment with a dated filter for example “created_at with a timestamp after 30 days ago”, nothing appears and my contacts aren’t added in this new segment.  Thank you in advance for your help!Eva Maekawa

Integrating Twilio Link Shortening

Is there any plan to integrate Twilio Link Shortening into Customer.io? It would be a huge time saver as we could then use dynamic links in the SMS, and Twilio would automatically handle the longer links.The POST request contains the required `To`, `ShortenUrls`, and `MessagingServiceSid` parameters, and the `Body` parameter contains a long link (not shortened).

Hey! 👋🏾I need some help: I have a city attribute representing a city my users are from f.e. Copenhagen, London. Is it possibile to use this data with create or update person + Liquid to assign the Europe/Copenhagen and Europe/London as my timezone attribute, so I can send comms using timezone feature?How would it look like?I would appreciate your help!

IP blacklisted / on spam list? How to notify Customer.io deliverability team?

Today I got a bounce due to one of CIO’s broadcast sending IP’s being blacklisted. I thought the deliverability team managing the shared IP’s would want to know, but am not sure how to inform them. Also are there any workarounds I can do on my end? Hi Team, I am working on incorporating customer.io subscription center and I have couple of questions:Can I get a data on number of contacts per preference? (I guess I can build the segment?) Is there a way for me to monitor the unsubscribe rates based on a certain topic I have? Can I monitor unsubscribe based on a topic + lanugage? I wanna identify the topic that drives the most unsubscriptions and the ones that is the most frequently subscribed? How can I achieve that?Your help is greatly appreciated!

Restrict attributes editing from the client side

Hi,Is it possible to have read only attributes for people, or at least attributes that are editable only from the server side? I want to use the in-app messages and I see it requires exposing both the site-id and the customer.io id, so the user has all the information they need to overwrite for example their email attribute, and it may cause problematic situations like sending mails to users that have never registered to my app.So I am looking for a way to restrict attributes editing from the client side users, is it possible? Thank you.

Prevent creating new identified users from the client side

Hello,I see that using the JavaScript SDK that requires to expose the site-id to the client, anyone can run this simple code_cio.identify({  id: 'fakeuser',  email: 'fakeuser@gmail.com'});and that user it is actually created in the People collection. So a malicious user can run this million times with different ids and to spam our people collection which contains real identified users. Is there a way to prevent this? Thank you.
