How to send emails to addresses within event data?
Hi there!We have a “team” feature in our product where customers can invite team members to their organization within Request Finance. We would like to send an email with Customer.io when a team member is deleted from a team. We have an event for this that contains the email of the deleted team member.However, when we create a segment based on this event, it contains users that deleted their team member, and not the members that were deleted themselves.How could we create a segment with the users that were deleted?Thanks,Alejandro
Dismiss in-app message
Hello,We're implementing the in-app messages and want to use custom actions to perform a specific task when the user taps the button. That task being opening the browser inside our app, that's why using the built-in link to web page action does not work for us. Another reason is that, sometimes, we want to populate the base URL we retrieve from the message before opening it.To achieve this, we resorted to custom actions. I created a simple one where I set the action name to something we can identify within the app, like open_in_app_browser, and the action value to the desired URL, let's say https://google.com.On the app, I'm detecting the open_in_app_browser action and retrieving the URL from the action value successfully. However, the in-app message doesn't dismiss when the button is tapped, which results in the message being on top of our app always:That's not our desired behaviour, we want the message to close and do something with it when the button is tapped.Is there a way to manu
How to make in app messages wider?

Our product is primarily used as a web app and I simply want to make the message format wider, how do I adjust that from the design editor? Thanks in advance.
Event to trigger second campaign not working
I’m currently designing a campaign where a person goes through campaign A. Campaign A has 3 conditions (true / false branches). At the end of the campaign an event is triggered. Once triggered, a person should move into the next campaign. I’m dealing with a user where they are going down the false path for all 3 conditions. They successfully trigger the end event but they don’t automatically flow into the next campaign. I can trigger the event manually and the user goes through the rest of the flow but it doesn’t happen automatically. Can anyone share insight?
WHy are my attributes not updating via the iOS SDK?
I have noticed the platform is displaying inconsistent data for the App Version. For example, the customer profile shows the App Version 1.5. But when I view the recent activity, the application shows 1.6. Is the app_version something we have to pass on our side?
Customer.io in-app messages take ~15sec to appear on my website.
Hello,I’ve just implemented the in-app messages for my wordpress website. Messages appear after a user makes certain actions like pressing a button. The button click sends an event to customer.io and then through a campaign I am sending the message. The problem is that the message appears around 15 seconds after the action is performed. Is there a way to reduce this to 1-2 sec max?Possible causes of this are also appreciated.
Create Object Relationship with Person (through ongoing work flow)
Are we missing something really obvious? We're trying to create relationships automatically with an object > people through the UI, e.g., Campaigns / Broadcasts, etc.Our goal is to automatically connect/create a relationship with an Object – (a list of all our physical locations) – and a person. For example, when a person registers their interest (via a new lead form), we want to automatically set up the relationship with the object. So, if a customer registers interest in Y Location through a lead form, can we set up the relationship within the existing Customer.io workflow? We have gone through all the documentation but can't seem to determine if this is possible in the Customer.io GUI / UI, or if this needs to be done with a different solution.If it can't be done in Customer.io (which would indeed be somewhat bizarre), is Twilio Segment the best way to do this?
Xsell / Upsell based on product size
Hi,I have a question regarding displaying xsell / upsell products based on purchases (or view event). We would like to create a campaign where we could display xsell products to what the customer has already bought. “You bought this, people are also buying these products with this one”. Specifically we would like to connect to the size of the product itself. Within the events - specifically in the product name, we do have the size of the product mentioned. Is there a way (maybe similar to abandoned cart products) to display these kind of xsell / upsell products? Or in general is there any way to work within customerio with xsell / upsell campaigns?Thank you.
Sending a newsletter progressively to the user base
Hi,I’d like to know if it’s possible to send a newsletter progressively to the whole user base.For example, let’s say I have 10,000 contacts in my user base, and I want to send a newsletter to all of them. However, I don’t want 10,000 emails sent simultaneously to avoid clogging up email servers of certain clients. I want to send an email every n second or minute, let’s say 5 seconds.Thank you your help.
Add attributes from in-app message
I’d like to collect some user data from an in-app message and add this information as a profile attribute. For example, I would like to determine if they prefer text or email communication. What would be the best way to collect this information and store it on the profile via an in-app message?
Hey, I’m completely new here and didn’t find anything similar, any help is greatly appreciated.So, yesterday I have created the token and whitelisted my IP, i was able to retrive the data using App Api and everything worked just fine. But this morning after several successul calls I’m getting 401 Unauthorized error. Has my token already expired? Or I’ve exceed some limits? Thank you
Attribute conditions based on another attribute
Can I add attribute conditions based on another attribute when creating segments or segment splits within campaigns? For example, we have attributes: jobs_count and clients_count. Both are numerical. Can we target only the user with the jobs_count less than clients_count?Seems that using liquids to build such a segment will not be correct https://prnt.sc/tJl7Bx-92IE6, right?
