I know you can configure permissions such as admin, workspace manager, author, and viewer. Within these roles, is it possible to set permissions on who can view or edit certain assets?

Can I set up universal links?

I’d like to set up universal links but am having issues doing so. I’d like to route universal links my app but they do not always link to the person’s device no matter how I configure them. Am I missing something? or is there a workaround I can do to make this possible?

Can't install intelliflo Desktop Agent on laptop

Hello, I have recently come across and error where we can’t install the Desktop agent for Intelliflow as the user could not download / interact with documents from the portal.Upon running the .exe it flashes up with a window stating - “The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.”The network has been changes roughly a year ago where we moved them from having a server to working from Azure AD.Could I please get some assistance with this?Kind Regards,Greg

Backfilling event to create Object relationship, can we do that?

With the introduction of Companies in customer.io, I’ve currently implemented Segment Action that allow group calls to happen in customer.io that will help establish the Object relationships. However, this is only applicable to new and future users/companies only.  Is there a way for me to backfill the relationships based on event? Or is there another recommended way for us to do?  I’m currently following this documentation here: https://www.customer.io/docs/uploading-people/#import-events to import my events. But the relationship still won’t be established after I tried importing a few users.  For my use case, I need to establish company relationships for past users AND also pass company-level traits that belong to attributes under certain events. (That’s why I used the importing event functions).

Incorrect phone number timestamp with Segment Identify event

We have a Segment → Customer.io integration done. We have mapping setup for Identify events, all attributes are being passed correctly when an event occurs except for the timestamp next to the phone number. The phone number is updated correctly but the timestamp is incorrect. Request you to check on this.

Integration with reactjs SPA web application

Has anyone implemented a customer.io integration for tracking events from a reactjs SPA web application?I can see how I would roll my own module to do so, but I don’t want to re-invent the wheel if it is already done.  I’m not finding any guidance regarding this on the web though.

Why ULID ids are required for deduplicating events?

Hi. I want to prevent the same event to be triggered more than once to prevent duplicated customer messages etc. According to the documentation we have:“If two events contain the same id, we won’t process the event multiple times” “The id must be a ULID”Item 1 is great and is what one would expect to prevent deduplication. I’m just wondering why item 2 is required. One could transform an existing id into a valid ULID, but that’s just additional complexity for apparently no benefit. Can someone clarify ?Also, what would happen if we generate a ULID using a fixed constant timestamp (or the timestamp for the start of the day) and injecting an existing ID in the randomness part ? That would be a valid ULID. Would that work ?Thanks in advance.

Failed Attribute Change error with email field on new account creation

Let’s say user created an account, Customer.io received “create account” event and now there is a Customer.io person with following identifiers: cio_id - cio_id_1, id - id_1, email - test@email.com.Let’s say we have “delete account” function. This function completely removes user’s account from DB, making its email available for complete new sign up. When user performs account deletion, Customer.io not receives “delete account” event because “delete account” function not sends it. Let’s say user with email test@email.com performed account deletion. Later this person decided to sign up from scratch. This person decided to use test@email.com again because it was released since last account deletion. So Customer.io receives “create account” event with following identifiers: id - id_2, email - test@email.com. Note that id is different because it is new account, but email is same. Customer.io creates person with following identifiers: cio_id - cio_id_2, id - id_2, email -. Email is missing.

Is there a way to pause entry into a step of our campaign?

I need to pause entrance into one of the emails of our campaign due to a technical glitch on our website where we drive traffic to in one of our steps. I'd like the rest of the campaign to continue business as usual so don't want to pause the entire campaign. I want all leads to stay where they are within the campaign with new leads being queued until our technical issue is resolved.

mail with time delay based on first mail, not previous mails

Hi,I’m building a campaign for new trial users. The first mail is a typical welcome-mail. Then follows a group of mails based on in-app behavior (great, you’ve realised A, now go do B) and time delays.But the onboarding campaign should always end with a mail to upgrade the account 14 days after the welcome mail, not taking into account all delays that happened in between. What is the best way to do so?

"Undeliverable" event for reporting webhooks?

Reporting webhooks support “undeliverable” events (“Email Events: Undeliverable”, “SMS Events: Undeliverable” and so on), as they can be chosen as an event option in the webhook creation form. But there is no information on this type of event anywhere on the “Reporting Webhooks” docs (link 1 and link 2).I suppose it’s just “metric”: “undeliverable” for the JSON data, but I need clarifications on “Does this event actually exist?”, “Is the payload structured similiar to the rest of events?”, “Will it be added on the docs anytime soon?” etc.

Best set-up for two-sided marketplace on customer.io

Hi everyone,I just arrived on customer.io and I am at a crossroad in terms of set-up.Basically, I have a two-sided marketplace in an “Airbnb-like” business, with travelers and hosts.I need to have very different conversations and data models for travelers (welcome, reactivation, etc.) and hosts (e.g. finish onboarding, set correct prices etc.).I am wondering about the best set-up on customer.io about this : what is the best way ? Should I create 2 different workspaces ? Should I look into objects ? Should I keep everything in one workspace on a “meta” data model for hosts and travelers ? I imagine this is quite a standard matter for all marketplaces.Any recommendation and experiences to share on this ?Thank you very much in advance !!Guillaume

Automated workflow didn't work

After I knew the working principle of the workflow, I adjusted my workflow. I created several workflows separately, and each workflow they are used for users in different states, such as 'sign up', 'free account', 'paying account'. I tested based on this, manually creating a new user, so he received the email set in 'sign up' two seconds after creation. After a while, I manually changed its status to 'free account' and it didn't receive the email for the second workflow setup. Then manually change its status to 'paying account', but still haven't received the email set by the third workflow. What's going on here, I think my logic is set very simply, just after the user's status changes, and then send him a corresponding email. I want to make sure if it's something wrong with my logic setup (which is fixable) and not the customer.io tool itself.

Adding layers of security

I want to trigger actions on my backend from a campaign. I’m sending webhook requests as part of a campaign. For example, I want to add a balance to my users in-app wallet as a promotion during an onboarding campaign. I know I can create a webhook in the campaign, however this doesn't seem particularly secure as I have to include the authentication keys in plain text in the webhook configuration. I can see that these requests get sent with an x-cio-signature header. his header is documented for the reporting webhooks here. However, I am not using reporting webhooks and have not set these up. I would therefore like to confirm if the x-cio-signature header sent with webhooks from campaigns is expected behaviour which I can rely on? If so, where can I find the key to verify the signature since I have not set up these webhooks through the reporting webhook screen.Is there any extra layer of security available? For example request signing to prove that requests are from customer.io or IP ad
