I know with A/B testing and hold out tests, I can determine which channel is best. Is there a way that Customer.io does this automatically?

Just to make sure I’m understanding your question correctly, do you wish to automatically recognize which channel a user prefers and default to sending them messages on this channel?
At this time, Channel Optimization is not implemented on Customer.io, but it has been requested before. I’m going to add your “vote” to that internal feature request and hopefully this functionality may be built into Customer.io in the future. 🗳
