How to implement BIMI in Customer.io?

We are in the process of implementing BIMI, is there anything we have to do on our customer.io account?

Hi Pranav,

Thank you for your question!

To your question regarding BIMI, there is nothing further you would need to do within Customer.io in order to comply with BIMI's requirements. When looking at the requirements, where we fit in is that we provide both DKIM and SPF records for authentication, both of which are required. BIMI then requires that you all domains you send from pass DMARC validation (which requires DKIM and SPF), which your sending from Customer.io meets.

I hope that this helps to provide clarity for you! For your reference, you can see the full implementation guide from BIMI's website here, where Step 1 is ensuring that your email servers are authenticated with SPF and DKIM and passing DMARC. The second link below is one to a BIMI Inspector tool that BIMI provides so that you can check and see that your BIMI record is set up correctly.

If you have any further questions for us going forward, please don't hesitate to let us know.
