Insert users into a step of a campaign?

Hi,

I recently created a new campaign which works great for new users, but I probably have about 50 users for whom only the 2nd half of the campaign is appropriate (since I’ve already manually reached out to them and sent them a version of the initial emails/correspondence). Is it possible just to “insert” them into a campaign at a particular step, like in a waiting block?

I’m assuming the answer is no, in which case, I’m guessing I should just create a copy of the first campaign and eliminate the first half of it, then send the rest to those users. Is that the best approach?

Thanks,
TOM

Hey Tom,

almost all tiles in the flow builder have the “condition”, which executes the step only if the condition is met. It might be possible to skip all previous steps with this feature. Here is an example doc page: https://docs.customer.io/journeys/wait-until/#conditions

You could create an attribute “already contaced” and make the status “false” the condition for the steps. This way everyone that got contaced (true) will skip them.

Thanks Felix. As it turns out, they’d already been through the campaign previously (when the campaign was shorter and didn’t have the later communications I wanted them to get), so they were ineligible to return to the campaign. I just made a copy of the campaign (pretty easy since you can select multiple blocks at once) and made the trigger specifically for them.

Anyway thanks (once again) for your great advice and help!!

TOM
