Two workspaces or one?

Hi there,
 

Can see this has sort of been asked before, but not really answered, we operate a marketplace like platform with 2 user groups, suppliers and customers. We currently only use customer.io to interact with our customers, but are looking integrating our supplier comms as well and wondering how best to go about it.

 

From a data integrity and simplicity perspective, I can see that it makes sense to keep them separate and have two workspaces. However, as a two sided marketplace where we need to send communications to both buyers and sellers at various stages of each transaction, it would seem a missed opportunity not to harness things like custom objects to create single campaigns  to do this. If they are in separate workspaces, you would potentially need to send all the event data etc twice and then also have 2 campaigns.

Any thoughts or experience that people could share on this would be very appreciated.

Hey TL_Kieran,

I would totally agree with what you wrote. I doesn’t make a lot of sense to keep them separated and your use case is exaclty what custom objects are made for!

Not a lot to add here. I would definitely go with one workspace.
