We are launching 3 plans for paid services (per month, half year and year), and I'm trying to figure out if the right way to manage this would be through objects.
I'm new to objects and even though I've read the manuals and seen the tutorials, I still haven't been able to figure out if this is the right way for us to manage customer communications around their purchase interactions.
Examples of interactions I would like to create:
- Email after purchasing a plan
- Email towards the end of the payment period
- Email after renewing/upgrading a package
The attributes I am wondering whether it is correct to manage them at the object level or at the profile level:
subscription start date
subscription end date
renewal subscription [Yes/No]
subscription status [Active/Not Active]
subscription type [1 month, 3 months, 6 months]
Any suggestion, tips, best-practices and more would be welcomed :)
