Tracking Clicks via Yes/No in workflow

Hi,

I have a campaign with a yes/no branch and the trigger is based on a click in the previous email.

My question is, how long does it take for a click to register?

My campaign is showing multiple clicks when I filter to see clicks but they don't seem to be on the right track of the yes/no branch as no people are on the ‘yes they clicked’ side.

Is there a lag?

Hi @francescajames ,

Usually when a tracked link is clicked, the click is registered immediately.

However, in your campaign workflow’s true/false branch, is this added immediately after the email action with no time delays? If that is the case, most likely what is happening is that in a profile’s campaign journey, as soon as they go through the email action, they then move on to the true/false branch to be evaluated, which is why everyone is defaulting to the “no” path.

After the email action, you would want to add a time delay (for example 2 days), to allow the email recipient time to receive the email, open the email and to click on a link, before they move on in the campaign journey to be evaluated against the link click.

Hopefully this helps to clarify!
