How does link tracking work with push notifications?

When it comes to Push messages, Customer.io reports on opens vs. clicked links. If a customer opens the push message, it will take them to the (deep) link specified in the message setup but track it as an open vs. a click or a tap.
If you’re using a Customer.io SDK, you’ll get open reporting whether you are constructing the deep/Universal links yourself, or using a deep linking tool like Appsflyer or Branch.io. Note that if you’re using a deep link integration tool like the latter, you can look up link tracking metrics in their dashboards.
