What does sending behavior mean on a webhook? What does it mean to “queue draft” or “don’t send” here?

Hi @iiiiiii 👋

Thanks so much for your outreach here. My name is Aaron and I’d be happy to assist on your question.

With sending behaviors, the behavior is the same for webhooks as it is for any other message type. When a customer triggers the message by passing through it in the campaign, you can have the message:

  • send automatically
  • draft; for your manual review (can manually send or delete)
  • don’t send (no delivery is generated at all; person moves on to the next action in workflow)

If you’d like to review our documentation on sending behavior, you can find it on our website here: https://customer.io/docs/journeys/sending-behavior/

I hope that helps clear things up for you! If you need anything else, please don’t hesitate to let us know.

Best,
