Using in-app messages to send notifications

Hello,

I am interested in implementing in-app messages that can be accessed through the notification icon 🔔 on my webapp. To make this possible, the messages would need to be received through the app before they are visible to the user. This way, we can identify when there are new messages and display a dot next to the notification icon, indicating to the user that there are messages to view next time they log in.

Is this something that could be implemented?

Thanks,

Camille

Hi Camile,

Hope you’re doing well!

Unfortunately sending in-app messages to a notification center isn’t something that we currently support. It sounds like you’re looking for a more comprehensive solution such as something from Magicbell, so you could take a look there to see if they offer something that you could use.

I’ll note down your question for our product team though, as this is useful information in thinking about where we develop our product in the future.

Have a great rest of your day!

Ryan
