Cannot access Collection data in Emails

Hello

I’m trying to access a basic piece of collection data ‘coupons’ within an email that I set up with a query.

It’s an absolutely vanilla use case as described in the docs, yet I can’t access it. What’s going wrong?

Hey Jkhamler,

the testing does not work because the preview is only for the email, not the entire journey. Therefore, I recommend to do a live test by seleting only...

  1. a seedlist segment as trigger or
  2. create a trigger-based campaign and use a test event such send_coupon_code_testing (send yourself the event manually in profile > options > send event).

Although I selected only one result, I still had to work with the for-loop. Here is what worked for me:
