I was wondering if customer.io has functionality to automatically add new users who join my app to my “People”database for campaigns instead of having to manually input people through a CSV. If so, where can I find documentation that addresses how to set this up?

I think you have to set up the mobile SDK for this. Or are you not talking about a mobile app?

of course, such data connections are a core feature of customer.io to get new user’s data and even their behavior, which can then be used to create personalized messaging triggered by behavior.
you need to set up such a tracking from your own application to customer.io once so data starts flowing. if you have a backend (server-side) where your user data is, i usually recommend connecting your backend to customer.io.
