Has anyone succeeded in setting up a mail campaign where you mail to a previous user, when a new user with the same mail domain name registers on your platform? I can’t seem to figure out if and how this would be possible with Customer.io 😅

Hey Tom,

I think the only way to achieve this is to work with custom objects. You will have to create or update the object “company” or “domain holder” once some ones signs up. I guess you can match it by extracting the domain from the email address.

Unfortunately you can not update custom objects right now with campaigns / workflows. This feature will be released in Q3/2024.

You can already achieve this via API, though. Check out the API docs.

 

Also try the AI helper here or in case you are on the premium tier by clicking the support bubble on the upper right corner in Customer.io.
