Question

Automated weekly sending

Hi

I have a loyalty program based on levels (1-5). for each level i have different promotions i would like to promote.

Users can enter and leave each level according to their activity within the app.

For example, i would like to send to all users in level 3 a push every Tuesday and Friday.

I created the campaign already but im not sure its working well.

I configured the trigger for users who are in segment = level 3.

Then created a time window, to wait to Tuesday & Friday.

Then created a push with a condition for users in level 3.

Looks like it worked the first time, but im not sure it working as a recurring campaign.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Hi there,

The recurring campaign functionality will depend on the frequency you have selected. It sounds like you’re using a segment-triggered campaign, is that right? Segment-triggered campaigns have 3 frequency options; one time, every re-match, and at fixed intervals (docs). Which frequency does your campaign use?

Thanks for the reply Byron.

Yes, its a segment-triggered campaign.

How do you suggest to configure it otherwise?

From the documentation, i see that i can do a “Fixed interval” frequency, and then add the users back to the campaign every day (if they match the criteria).

Will that work?

Hi BarakS,

A segment-triggered campaign should be a good option for you. Likely, you’ll want to adjust the frequency to a fixed interval for a timeframe that works best for your business.

The “every re-match” option requires a person to exit a journey, then exit the trigger segment, then re-match the trigger segment before they can start a new journey. This option is likely a little more complex for your needs.
