How to create a salesforce event when customer perform a email action?

So that we can see all the email action listed in the Activity panel

To directly answer your question, there’s no out-of-the-box setting to have external Email Activity show up in the Salesforce Email Activity panel. There are several methods for sending Email Activity outside of Customer.io, including Reporting Webhooks and Customer.io CDP. However, having read up on Salesforce’s Email Activity Integration option, they seem to be limited to monitoring a single email account/inbox.

 

With that said, we are surely not the best authority to advise on Salesforce instances, so we would recommend using the methods above of being able to send Email Activity Data to an external 3rd-party, and have a Salesforce expert advise on the options available.
