Introduction

This post provides a tutorial on how users can export their company data from Customer.io platform. While currently it's not possible to export both event and attribute data for all profiles at once, users can still export individual profile data or many user profiles all at once.

NOTE:  Exports will include all attribute data for the selected profiles. If this includes sensitive data, you must purge that data before passing it to customers.

Solution

To export your data, perform the following steps:

1. Navigate to the 'People' tab.
2. Click 'Export to CSV'.

However, if you would like to export all the data associated with a profile, including all attributes and events, you will need to go into a specific profile you would like to export the data, navigate to the "Options" button at the top right, and select the ‘Export Profile Data’ option in the dropdown. The export includes all attribute and event data for the selected profile:

Please note, a request feature for exporting both event and attribute data for all profiles at once has been noted, but is not available at this time.
