Hello Everyone,

Is there a way of creating multiple subscriptions, so some of users may unsubscribe from promotional messages but remain subscribed to our product updates?

Hey Esther,

The current recommendation for managing subscription types is covered in Customer.io documentation here - https://customer.io/docs/multiple-subscription-types/

This configuration relies on a subscription preference attribute which is generated via a self-hosted subscription page. This subscription setting is configured like any other profile attribute you pass to Customer.io but its status will be leveraged in campaigns for filtering.

UPDATE: Customer.io now has a subscription center which will allow you to automate, segment and send to users signed up to custom topics (like promotional messages).
